In October of 2016, @callmepo had done a piece for his “Inktober” set that had immediately caught my eye. The piece was something that he called “Stardust Girl”. And so, it was another idea that I had saved for my future commissions with him and when the list opened, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity.
Here’s the original sketch: Inktober 2016 Day 22 - Stardust Girl
And here’s the line art: Stardust Girl Lineart
As I mentioned before in my first piece: CallMePo Stardust Girl I knew that this character was too good to pass by giving her one set of colors, both in skin tones but also in her “space gear”. So, I set about to give her as many tones and color pallets as I knew.
My first instinct was to make an “African American” version of Stardust Girl. Which was a little tricky getting the tones just right. Both in the skin as well as the nipples. After that I did various others, such as ranging from tan to pale.
In addition to the skin tones, I couldn’t help but put in stars and nebula behind her. After all, Nebula are pretty much “star dust”. And in the various color pallets that were done, I wanted the clouds of star dust to match the colors of her “space gear” so as to tie the picture together.
If there’s a certain skin tone and clothes color combination that you’d like to see, just send me an ask and I’ll see what I can work out. :-)
My thanks to CallMePo and the wonderful work that he did with this.
Note: All character(s) depicted here are 18 years of age or older.
