I am kicking myself that I hadn’t done this earlier back when Pokemon Go was really starting to take off but better late than never, right?
A while back I came across the artist @liefeldianabomination and saw that they did commissions and I thought of throwing something easy their way and I picked Blanche from “Pokemon Go”, the leader of Team Mystic. The team, by the way, I had joined when I played the game. However, due to the artists’ rules I couldn’t do a nude pinup like I normally do with a lot of artists that I commission. But then again, with the way that this one was done it made it more inviting, if that makes sense.

Coloring Blanche was the easy part, but when it came to the background, once again I knew that there needed to be something to be placed there. So, going back to the source material, I picked the background where she makes her appearance and used the blue to white gradient. And of course, the symbol for Team Mystic was a must. But then I knew that there was something else that was missing. And so I made two versions. The first was as it is and then there was the second where I threw in a pinup slogan. And what better slogan to use than “I want you…for Team Mystic”?
