60w - Colleen and Yivo

This is the colored version of a commission I made to 60w.

I wanted him to do an erotic/nude picture of Colleen and Yivo from the Futurama movie “Beast with a Billion Backs”.

Anyone who is an anime fan (or a hentai fan) would have watched “Beast with a Billion Backs” and immediately thought of all those tentacle scenes from anime and hentai.

When 60w was finished with the picture, I was fighting with myself whether to give the picture shading like I do in so many others that I’ve done.  But since he did such an expert job at mimicking the Futurama style I felt that it would be appropriate to color it in the Futurama style.

60w - Amy Wong Nude Cityscape

This one is a colored lineart that I had 60w do for me. Mainly because everyone loved the other pic that he did for me.

But I wanted to do another one of Amy Wong because there doesn’t seem to be enough decent artwork of her, especially in this situation.

The only thing that was rather tricky with this one was the cityscape that was put into the background so I had to consult the original work from Futurama to see how it was done.

And really, with such flat surfaces around I couldn’t resist putting in the “Alien Language” graffiti into the background.

Also if you’re curious, I’ll break down what each one says.

White: “Bender is Great”

Pink: “Amy is Sexy”

Black: 60w

Green: StarDragon77 Rules

When I submitted this to DA, I had to point out that Amy Wong is in her late 20s/early 30s as well as to put it out there that if they didn’t believe me they could consult the Futurama Wiki/The Infosphere.  In addition to that this isn’t exactly the first time that Amy has been naked within the actual series.

60w - Amy Wong Nude Beach

This is a piece that I commissioned of 60w, who doesn’t really have a DA page anymore because there were a few too many tight asses around here complaining about his artwork.

Also if you have any complaints thinking that this is inappropriate because she’s an animated character, I submit to you that Amy Wong in the series of Futurama is in her mid 20s.  So back off.

Now that that’s out of the way, I can discuss the other parts of it.

The biggest challenge of this one was not in coloring Amy or anything else but the space background.  The problem that I was faced with was whether to make it sky blue or space black.  I tried fiddling around with both and Space Black seemed to be the best one to go with.

Also in the original lineart that 60w did there was a weaving set of lines that I would presume was supposed to be some kind of nebula that was to happen behind the planets.  But in coloring it I ran into too many problems with the line there so I deleted it and put in the nebula effect behind the planets.

I know that this is a lot like the Amy Wong picture that 14-bis did and that is kind of what inspired me.  I originally asked him to do something similar to that but minus all the tentacles.  Unfortunately I couldn’t really meet his commission price so he recommended 60w to me.
