This is a commission piece that I had Aquarina-chan do for me. It is basically a gift for my good friend Killerchibis who had told me that FLCL (Fooly Cooly) is her favorite anime. Thus I had Aquarina-chan do a “FLCL Caricature” of her. And this was the result.
In the coloring process I basically went back to watching FLCL (Always fun) to see how they do the coloring process. And from what I noticed is that there’s very little use of shading (unless they’re in a fairly shaded or dark place). So it would basically be very different from what I do where I used a first and secondary shading color.
