This is a colored lineart that I had Psyconorikan do for me.

Originally, the idea for “X” came about because after seeing Death Note there weren’t a lot of likeable female characters (and I think you all know a certain blonde annoying girl I’m talking about). So, I decided to build one that was a lot like L. In the beginning, “X” was going to be a clone of “L” that Watari had set aside but then after talking it over with Cl0ckh3art it turned out to be a bad idea.

So, I decided to go another route. The route I decided to go with was to make “X” into an “L-Fangirl”. The idea immediately seemed like such fun because I hadn’t seen any Original Characters or Fan Characters that went with this route.

But I know that there are still people who are going to bitch. >_<

Strengths: Persistent in her task of solving puzzles. Even when everyone else has given up and it is proclaimed “unsolvable”.

Habits: X tends to sometimes tap the end of a ballpoint pen to the side of her temple or hold the end of it between her teeth as if she’s smoking a cigarette or a pipe. And sometimes she tends to hum simple tunes that can get stuck in the mind’s ear (i.e. the Meow-Mix song).

History

In hear early teen years, Sarah Dawkins had always shad an interest in true crime both in fiction and in real life. Often she would read crime and mystery novels and true crime books. Her reasoning is that because she grew up in a fairly sheltered environment of the suburbs and never knew the grittiness of the real world until she read about it.

And it was long before the Kira investigation that Sarah had heard about the great detective known as “L”. Hearing his exploits and the many different cases that he had solved inspired her to become just like L. And thanks to some very intense research he found out from a few people about what L looked like as well as his appearance.

Because of this, she had begun to adopt many of L’s mannerisms although some of them she had morphed into her own. Such as morphing L’s love of sweets into a love of anything spicy: habenero peppers, Chinese Hot Mustard, Wasabi and so on. Her thinking is that “if it doesn’t make my eyes water and nose run, it’s not hot enough.”

She did try on several occasions to enter into Wammy’s House but she was rejected mainly on the bases that she was “too old” to be accepted. And so, this set about her determination to show that she can be as good, if not better, than all the other children in Wammy house.

After her rejections from Wammy House she took upon the monogram of “X”, the most unused letter in the English language. And she has since started her own detective agency which has solved dozens upon dozens of cases.

Psyconorikan - L and the Chocolate Factory

This is the colored version of L Finds a Golden Ticket that I had commissioned of Psyconorikan.

It had occurred to me a long time ago that given how much L loves chocolate, candy, and other sweet things then for him to be at the Chocolate Factory would be a dream come true for him. In fact I imagine that’s what heaven is like for L. Ironically enough, she had drawn a picture that shows L in Heaven. It’s called, L, Aftermath Ain’t So Bad.

However, there was the discussion of which Wonka to use. I picked the Gene Wilder version over the Johnny Depp because of two reasons. One I think that Gene Wilder really accentuated Wonka’s eccentricity as a candy maker. While Johnny Depp on the other hand made Wonka into this self-obsessed childish man-boy. In other words Johny Depp had made Willy Wonka into Michael Jackson. The second reason being the most obvious is that the Gene Wilder version has a certain sentimental value to me.

Coloring this one was a little tricky but I knew that I would get it done eventually.

Psyconorikan - L and Misa - The Sweetest Thing

This is a comic that I had commissioned of Psyconorikan.  I always thought it’d be funny if something like this would happen in Death Note despite all the haters of Misa Amane (and really I don’t blame them).  In addition to that there are also a lot of the yaoi fans who’d be yelling that L and Light should be together.  Still, despite all that I still think that a setup like this would be very sweet and innocent.  That’s my opinion on the subject.
