JulyViolet - Black Widow Stands with Ukraine

 

I know that I'm late to the party about this but I've had this idea for a long time that I think would be a great and rather powerful image. The idea was inspired by this protest I saw on the news of women in France that were going topless and painting themselves in the Ukrainian flag. So, with that in mind, I wondered "what would Natasha Romanov, the Black Widow, do or think in this situation?"

The answer was obvious.

And so, I called upon JulyViolet to do the line art and they managed this.

The coloring was the harder part since so much is going on at home and I've been trying to do all I can to balance work life, home life, and the hobby life.

JulyViolet - Earth-chan is not flat!

 

 

Here's the newest coloring piece drawn by JulyViolet and colored by me.  I know that I may be a little late to the meme party on this one but I still love the idea of it; a anthropomorph of the planet earth itself as well as the other planets.  The other part that I found funny about this is Earth-chan's response to people saying that she's flat.  It was because of this that I wanted JulyViolet showing off her breasts to show the entire solar system that she is most certainly not flat.

After JulyViolet colored it, I knew that I had my work cut out for me because of how her hair is blue and has the outlined land masses in her hair.  So, what I did was doubled the layers, colored one in blue and the other in green.  For the green layer, I worked on cutting away the bits that weren't needed.  After that, it was a simple matter of putting in a space background. 

But after I uploaded Earth-chan, I couldn't help but think that I had forgotten something.  Then I looked back at other versions of Earth-chan and noticed how she had a halo of clouds and hair highlights.  So I put in that but I decided not to overwrite what I uploaded and so I decided to just upload it along side the first one.

I am currently taking on writing commissions of various types from ordinary prose to fan fiction to erotica.

Payment type:  Paypal only

Price range:      0.01 USD per word for regular prose/fiction
                       0.03 USD per word for erotica/smut fiction

Limits:  This is my limits when it comes to smut/erotica fiction. I won’t do anything that involves non-consent, animals, children, blood, urine, and/or scat.

IGFalcon - Wonder Boobs Colored

One of my favorite artists that I follow, @igfalcon did a line art a while back of WOnder Woman and essentially challenged everyone do to their own colors.  And so, here’s mine.  I did try to mimic the style of the movie armor as best as I could but I swear it had the visual texture of metal but had a certain rubber-like quality to it, if you know what I mean.

CallMePo - Tracer’s Oppai Heart Meme - Pride Version

I'm sure many of you have seen the meme that has been going around where a model or character is posed making a heart shape with their hands but shoving their breast through it making it into a heart shape as well.  I decided to jump on this meme and get to it.  And so when @callmepo​ had opened his commissions, I jumped at that chance too and had him do Tracer with this.

For this version of the picture, I had to throw in a Pride version of the Overwatch logo, given that Tracer/Lena Oxton is a part of the LGBTQ+ community.  So, really, let’s spread the love.  Make love, not hate.

CallMePo - Tracer’s Oppai Heart Meme

Normally, I would have gotten this one done much sooner as well, but all this adulting nonsense just keeps piling up on me.  And to think all of us thought being an adult would be so great.  MEH!

Berelince - Mavis Dracula

What we have here is a new commission that was done for me by Berelince, a rather tasteful pinup of Mavis Dracula from “Hotel Transylvania”.   Initially when I made the lineart commission to her I was thinking that I would only get Mavis by herself and I would have to fill in the background myself.  And low and behold, Berelince went above and beyond the call of duty with this piece.  She put in a reclining couch for Mavis as well as some curtains and candle holders behind her.  Looking it over, I knew instantly from a coloring standpoint that I had my work cut out for me.  But I was in no rush so I took my time and went over it little by little by little.

Coloring Mavis was the easy part, the harder parts came in the couch and the candle holders.  And that took quite a lot of time to do.  Because instead of doing it like I usually do with only the polygon lasso tool I held the base area of color and just shaded in each part with the brush tool.

Then came the candle holder, clicking in the area for the holder itself took quite a long time to do and a little longer when it came to the shading but it was worth it.

Finally, I added in a little shading and light layers to give it that “candle lit look”. 
Even Berelince herself was impressed by the work I had done with the coloring.

And I hope all of you do as well.

Coloring Android 18 was the easier part of this picture but the harder part came when it was time to give her a background.  So, I figured that the more appropriate scene for her would have to be a beach or at least the ocean.

IGFalcon - Twi’lek Slave Girl Colored

A while ago, I came across a wonderful lineart by IGFalcon that I wanted to color.

This is the lineart that I’m talking about:  Slave Twi’lek by IGFalcon

So I spoke with IGfalcon asking if he could send me the high resolution version of the picture so that I could add my own colors to it.  I had seen the full version of the picture over at IGFalcon’s tumblr page and saw that there was more to it.  Namely it involved Jabba the Hutt.  So, when I asked for the high resolution version of the picture, I wanted to focus upon the Twi'lek dancer herself.  It was only thanks to IGfalcon’s understanding that I was sent the picture.

But coloring the picture wasn’t that tricky.  Only part that was a little time consuming was how I had planned on coloring this Twi'lek in the various skin colors indicative of the Twi'lek species.  For those of you that don’t know, or probably picked up upon, Twi'leks have different skin tones, each color represents a different tribe/clan that they belong to.  Among the more well recognized ones are the blue, yellow-green, teal and red.

I hope you like the fact that I put all those colors here.

Coloring Commission - CallMePo - Will Bufford - Harley, Korra and Rogue at Mardi Gras

This is the second coloring commission in the batch from Will Bufford that involves Harley Quinn, Korra and Rogue.  It involves a lineart that he had CallMePo do for him.  The setup is that they’re all at Mardi Gras and they’re getting very…VERY crazy.  Then again, with Harley Quinn, I suppose this is just an average day for her.

Coloring this one was tricky in it’s own area.  Mainly it’s the beads that were the trickiest.  My first thought was to color them in the respective colors to their characters, red for Harley, blue for Korra and green for Rogue.  It was when I was just about done that I found out that the traditional Mardi Gras bead colors were gold, green and purple/pink.  But with the way that the beads turned out, I
liked it too much to make any color changes so I kept it. 

As far as a background goes, initially I wanted to show something of New Orleans but that seemed a little hard to do given the angle this picture was at, so I settled on a close-up of a building with some windows.  But given how it is, I think the background came out well. 

I did also think about throwing in confetti but after doing it and showing it to Will we both came to the conclusion that it was distracting and covered up too much.  So, we axed the confetti and left it as is.

Coloring Commission - WolfboySpike21 - Killer Frost Bares All

In this coloring commission that was given to me by WolfboySpike21.  This one was done for him by the artist MegaSweet and he asked that I color Killer Frost but also give her a background like one of the padded cells in Arkham Asylum.  Admittedly, I had never heard of Killer Frost until fairly recently so he had to give me a few reference pictures to work from.  And the lineart itself was sketch and not something that I was used to but, I went with it because it had been so long since I colored anything. 
But by comparison, coloring Killer Frost was easy, the background is where it got tricky.  Becuase I wanted there to be a uniform look to it, I applied a “Grid” in photoshop, which is a setting under the “view” menu and using that I traced out the grid and did some manipulation and that’s how I got this lovely padded wall look.

Coloring Commission - CallMePo - Desscribe - Swashing Her Buckle

Here we have a coloring commission made to me by Desscribe of a lineart they made to CallMePo

When I saw it, I knew it was going to be a fun one to color.  I even had a few ideas for a background.  One of the ideas that I had for a background was that it would be the interior of a spaceship a bit like one of the previous coloring commissions that Desscribe had asked of me.  Or another possibility that I had in mind was something akin to Boris Vallejo’s work where the two of them would be standing on a rock and the beautiful glory of space with twinkling stars and swirling nebula gas clouds would be behind them.

Unfortunately, due to budget constraints, Desscribe could only commission me to color the two people in this picture.  The people, by the way, are Corsair and Katherine Summers: the parents of Scott and Alex Summers (Cyclops and Havoc of the X-men Comics).  So, thanks to Desscribe providing some scans of the comics where the two characters had made their appearance I had something to go on as far as coloring goes.

After it was done, all I needed to do was just put in a simple shadow and that was it.  Desscribe was happy with it so that means I did quite well.  Though I do hope that I get an opportunity to put in a background sometime in the future.

Coloring Commission - CallMePo - AvX

This is another coloring commission that was made to me by Cypher3au over at DeviantArt.com.
The lineart itself was done by CallMePo.

In this particular set, I think this one was the most simple.  I think it’s becuase when it comes to coloring bare skin, all you really need are the color and the shades for it.  It’s only when clothes are added that things start to get complicated.  ALthough, not in this case since there was only the boots and the cloaks.

I mainly say this out of the third one that Cypher3au has me doing, which will be featured here very shortly.

Coloring Commission - CallMePo - Miranda

This is a coloring commission that was made to me by Cypher3au.

Originally, the picture came to me as a sketch and so, I had to do some digital inking on it before I got to the coloring.
The background though was another issue.  From what :iconcypher3au: told me, he wanted the background to look like the bath/hot tub on board the Normandy.  Given the capture screen that I had seen I did try to render it as best as I could.

As for the water surface in the background I’d like to thank almuli for the Water Surface Brush Set.

CallMePo - Battalion Wars 2 - We have ways of making you talk

Recently, I was approached by Kingddd who wanted to commission me to color a piece that was done for him by CallMePo
I didn’t really know the characters so I inquired further. I was told that their names were “Brigadier Betty” (the one tied up) and “Countess Ingrid” the one standing at the right. I was also told that these two were characters from a game called “Battalion Wars 2”. In all honesty, I’ve never heard of the game, but I was still intrigued to do the commission. And thanks to Kingddd I was given a good amount of reference images to help in the coloring process of this.

Although, I will admit that this one was a lot slower because of the fact that I had been dealing with a chest cold and had been in and out of bed rest a lot. But thankfully it was done.

Bokuman - Bunny Girl - Lucy Fire

This is a colored version of the commission Lucy Fire Lineart that was drawn for me by Bokuman

There was a previous version of this one that I did called “Mermaid Lucy Fire”, but after showing the picture to my friend Cl0ckh3art, it was observed that the way that I had down the background, “Water light rays” and the bubbles, it needed a redux to give it a better look.  From the pictures that Cl0ckh3art showed me, there weren’t a lot of bubbles like I had done in the first picture.  In addition to that the bubbles in the previous picture were “Too perfect” and too round.  While bubbles that actually happen in the ocean are a little more misshapen.  And that’s if there are other underwater creatures exuding air.  So, in other words if there were any undersea life beneath Lucy Fire then there would be no need for the bubbles.  

It certainly looks more authentic, doesn’t it?

LLToon - Cherrie Walker

it began one morning when I was talking with LLToon and I had shown him a lot of the colored linearts that I had done. The work of other artists who had done the lineart and I had simply added the color. Works that were done by Bokuman, DKSTUDIOS05, and so on.

The conversation then led to how he was saying that he had a lineart in the works and asked if I was interested in giving it a shot. I said I would and he showed it to me. It was of a character created by him named “Cherrie Walker” which I had seen in his gallery but this time she was done in the Chris Sanders style.

In case you don’t know, Chris Sanders was the director of the Disney film Lilo and Stitch.

And as it turns out he has a page here at DeviantArt - Alohalilo.

Anyway, LLToon gave this picture to me and gave me the challenge to color her. which I did, and to my surprise he was quite impressed with what I had done.

Spiritto - Crysta Cake

This is one of the first pictures that I had commissioned to Spiritto.  At the time it was the coming birthday of her husband Lionheartcartoon.  And because he and I liked the character Crysta from “Furn Gully” I figured why not do something like this where Crysta is popping out of a cake.  So I sent the idea to Spiritto and had her draw it up and this was the result.  Although, I think that it’d have been far more hilarious if she popped out of a cupcake but that’s just me.

I always thought that the seashell bra for mermaids was a bit much.  Admittedly the film was aimed at children but I can assure you that this picture certainly is not.  Then again, the original story of the Little Mermaid by Hans Christian Anderson wasn’t exactly aimed at children either.  If you don’t believe me will look it up here:

Although I did get into an argument with a friend of mine SerpentRose about the idea being a bit ridiculous about mermaids with breasts.   “How would they feed their young?”  He argued, “The milk would just dissolve into the ocean.” Of course, I countered with the fact that Dolphins and Whales are marine mammals and they do the same.  The reason is because the milk has such a high fat content that the consistency would be that of toothpaste.  And that shut the argument down immediately.

Anyway, when I commissioned this piece to Spiritto she liked the idea.  Except DeviantArt didn’t exactly take a liking to it.  Thus the reason why it’s here.
