CallMePo - Kim Possible's Alone TIme

A while back on Twitter, a creator I follow, Phillipthe2, showed off a sketch that CallMePo did of Kim Possible and with that it was shown some clean line artwork that was done over that. I was so impressed by the work that I contacted Phillip and asked if I could color it. They agreed and I was given the high-resolution version of the image. Coloring her was pretty easy, but the background was the harder part. So, I went back to some screenshots of the series to see if I could find anything. And with the little shots, I could find I used that for the bed, floor, and the wall.

Almost looks like the real thing, wouldn't you say?

Coloring Commission - CallMePo - Slim2k6 - ogehS woN msagrO

Here is a new coloring piece that was made to me by a wonderful patron of mine: Slim2k6 a.k.a. DaCommissioner and this one is another from Camp Woody but this one involves Shego from “Kim Possible” and Desiree from ‘Danny Phantom” who had learned a small spell from Zatanna (DC comics).

In the beginning, I was asked to give it a similar background to the Eris/Ann Marie picture where it was the inside of a cabin.  And given the position of Desiree’s hand in the picture and the angle, I already knew what sort of background to set up.  That basically Shego’s back would be to the angled wall and there would be the adjacent wall to that. 

After coloring Shego and Desire, I wanted to make the effects, like the motion lines around Shego to pop a little more.  So, remembering how old school comics looked, motion lines often had a little bit of white coupled with it.  Using that, I went through and added the white to the sweat droplets and the motion lines.  But I still felt that there was more that needed to be done, such as with Desiree’s magic.  With that, I just used the color of the portal, added a little dusting of “magic sparkles” and added an outer glow to them to make them pop.

Coloring Commission - GorillaKing18 - Rongo Forever

This is a coloring commission that was made to me by GorillaKing18 but the lineart was done by CallMePo

This was a pretty simple coloring, if I may say so myself, all that I needed to do was color Ron and Shego and give it a small background.  And I admit that it was nice to go back and color some Kim Possible Fan Art.   Something that I had not done in quite a long time.  Although, I know that a few of my friends that are in the KP fandom would not like the idea of this particular pairing.  But hey, I say have at it with any pairing you like.

CallMePo - Teacher’s New Pet

This is the colored version of “Teachers New Pet” that was drawn by CallMePo and commissioned to him by CDB2

In taking on this one, what would be tricky is Gwen because I didn’t know who she was. So i talked to CDB2 about who she was and where she was from. With that information I set about gathering the information needed to color her. Namely the pallet that I would be using for her. The part that was the most tricky was her shirt because it was three different colors. Thanks to the layer lock ability of photoshop, I just did it all in one color, did the shading and then recolored only those specific areas. Although, at the end, I made the underwear white, but as CDB2 pointed out to me, they were purple as seen in this clip: [link]

I’d like to thank CDB2 for giving me the opportunity to color this.

CallMePo - Miss Go Dropped the Chalk

This is a colored version of one of the one-week-one-shots that CallMePo did for CDB2

Originally, when I saw it I thought about coloring it and then making my own digital lineart over it. But as I began to progress with it it seemed that leaving the lineart as it is was better. Especially since with the version of photoshop that I have now I wouldn’t be able to give the same kind of lineart that other aritsts I know have done.

Though, I admit that when it came to coloring Shego’s undergarments, I was faced with a bit of a coloring issue about what to do. I had gone through many different colors to use. Such as white, pink, red and finally green. Some of the other colors might seem usual but given Shego’s character, green seemed to be far more appropriate. Especially in this form where she’s good, and a teacher, green seemed to be a better nod to her original self.

Spiritto - The Kimmatrix Illustration Chapter 03

This is a continuation of the Kimmatrix Illustrations that I am trying to have various artists do.  This one was done by Spiritto.  The setup for this illustration is as follows:

The sharp sting that Kim felt in the back of her head was suddenly gone, and she opened her eyes quickly. She looked around and saw nothing but an empty, white void stretching out in every direction above and below her. It was as if she were in some kind of limbo, but she could feel solid ground beneath her feet.

“W…what happened?” Kim asked softly to herself as she looked around the white emptiness when she felt something very familiar around her shoulders. She looked around and nearly let out a sharp squeal when she saw her long, ginger hair flowing down to her hips again. It was as if a part of her that she felt was missing had come back since she came to that very odd world of dinginess and gray steel.

She pulled the hair over her shoulder and hugged it lovingly as if it was one of her cuddle buddies that she kept on her bed and never told anyone about. She then looked at the rest of herself and found everything was different and yet, it was as it was before. She had on her green tank top, blue jeans, and leather trench coat that Ron had gotten her.

“Ok.” She mused to herself, “Something is definitely up…”

“Booyah!” She heard a voice boom out from behind her. She spun around and found Ron standing there in the blinding, white abyss; her eyes widened at what she saw on him. He was wearing a black duster style trench coat over a blood red shirt with gold trim around his collar, a pair of form fitting black jeans, a pair of black buckled combat boots, and a pair of sunglasses that were very similar in style to those of the Agents who attacked them at Drakken’s base.

Spiritto - Ron Stoppable Gift Art

This here was a gift art from Spiritto to me.  It was after I had created a stamp for her in honor of her artistic abilities.  And so in appreciation she asked if there was an art piece that she could do for me and immediately I thought of Ron Stoppable in a fan fiction that I had written with my good friend ClassicCowboy.  The fan fiction being called “The Kimmatrix” which is a fusion of Kim Possible and the Matrix.  If you’re interested in reading them I highly recommend them.

NinjaWithin - The Kimmatrix Illustration Chapter 02

This is an illustration drawn and colored by NinjaWithin for a fan fiction that I had written with ClassicCowboy.  The fan fiction blends “Kim Possible” and “the Matrix”.  The passage that this picture corresponds to follows:


“You’ll understand soon.” Morpheus said as he opened up the small box and allowed the contents to drop into his hand. He leaned forward with his fists clenched near his face, “This is your last chance. After this, there is no going back…” He said as his left hand opened, revealing two blue pills there that looked like those NyQuil gel-caps, “You take the blue pills, you will wake up in your respective beds and believe whatever you want to believe, though I feel you have not seen the last of the Agents.” He then opened his right hand and there were two red pills identical in every way except color those in his left hand, “You take the red pills and…”

“We stay in wonderland,” Ron uttered, “And you show us just how deep the rabbit hole goes. Uh…you know this is really getting annoying. And I feel a real migraine coming on. Well, what do you think, KP?”

NinjaWithin - the Kimmatrix Illustration Chapter 01

This is an illustration drawn and colored by NinjaWithin for a fan fiction that I had written with ClassicCowboy.  The fan fiction blends “Kim Possible” and “the Matrix”.  The passage that this picture corresponds to follows:

“Do not try to bend the spoon.” The boy said, sounding like an old Chinese Tao Master, “That’s impossible…instead only try to realize the truth.”

The déjà vu was in full force when Ron was about to ask what the truth was, but then for no apparent reason he already knew what the boy was talking about.

“There is no spoon.” Ron said calmly, looking at his distorted reflection in the spoon’s surface, and then looking to the boy who nodded at his answer.

“Then you will see it is not the spoon that bends; it is only yourself.” The boy added as Ron continued to stare at the utensil.

As he stared, he began to bend his neck to the left and saw the spoon bending with him. It was as if the spoon was imitating the movements of his spine like a reflection in a mirror. Just as the spoon began its small bend, he heard Rufus chirp into his ear; he turned sharply to him, and knew what he was chirping about; he would be late for school if he didn’t hurry up. After the interruption, Ron looked back at the spoon and saw it was straight again. He looked at the smiling boy as he laid down the spoon, got back up, and headed for school. Ron couldn’t help looking back at that sandbox and the boy sitting there as he made his way out of the playground.
