 It has been a little too long these days since I've uploaded or shown any kind of art, everyone.  But the thought of coloring line art has not been far from my mind.  But given how much of regular life needs my attention, there was a shift in priorities.  But allow me to show this to you; a Slave Leia Elsa.  

I still remember encountering the cosplayer Maid of Might who did this and I liked it a lot but I still felt that I could see Elsa as a Jedi.  Yet, I coudln't help but go back to this idea and how sexy it is.

I know it's been a very long time since I've uploaded anything new lately but I promised myself and all of you that I would get back to it and get something made for all of you.

For this one, we have something that was suggested to me by my friend, DieselJester, who, like me, is a huge Elsa fan, and wanted to see a piece of her in a leash. The pose on the other hand was inspired by another artist who did one of a My Hero Academia character doing the same thing. So, if any of you know the piece I'm talking about and who the artist is, I'd greatly appreciate the information.

BadSpider - Elsa's JackOPose Challenge

I know that I'm very late to this party but it is still something that I've always wanted to do and try out.  However, the trick was finding an artist to do it, but I managed to find an artist by the name "BadSpider" who is very good at mimicking the Disney style.  Upon finding this person, I asked them to do this but have them do it as a line art.  They were interested in seeing how I would do as far as my coloring skills are concerned.  They were rather impressed by what I was able to do.

JulyViolet - Coronation Elsa's ass

After seeing the work of the cosplayer Luna Rae Cosplay, I saw this piece that she did of Elsa in her coronation dress and I was inspired to have something like that done with the original Elsa. So, I reached out to JulyViolet and asked them to do this piece. Upon it being done, I knew that my work was cut out for me since coloring her coronation dress has several colors to it. 

 

However, the dress and all that seemed easy compared to what I would need to do with the background. I worked my way with the background trying to get it to look as much like Arendell as possible. But in addition to doing that, I did several different kinds of backgrounds for this, all available at my Patreon.

JulyViolet - My Animated Harem Birthday Party

 I made a commission to JulyViolet a few months back.  I think it was around August or so because my birthday was in September.  And so, I decided to have something special done as far as art done.  Similar to how back in the 2000s I did an art piece where my favorite characters were around me throwing a birthday party for me.  This time, I decided to have my Animated Harem doing it for me and I knew that there should be a nude and a clothed version.  Probably the most expensive piece I've ever had commissioned.  

In coming up with the concept for this for JulyViolet, I already knew what I wanted to happen.  Basically Elsa would do the decorations, Tracer would be doing her victory pose, Maggie would have a present (definitely a book) ready, Aunt Cass would have a cake baked, Lilith would have the snacks, Zone-tan would be drinking a lot (according to her she can hold her liquor), and Samus would be bringing out the party game (DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS!).  

I was so ecstatic when it was finished but I knew that the real hard part of it was going to be the actual coloring.  But in doing this, I knew one really big thing I need to do; I need to get a proper desk and chair.  Sitting down for hours on end at a pub style dining table is no way to do this.  The first one I worked on was the nude one and then after that I went for the coloring piece.  At first I combined both the nude and clothed versions into one file but it was getting too damn big so I separated them out.  After finishing the nudes, I transplanted the layers and then worked on the clothes.  So the nude version has 271 layers and the clothed version has 331.  Of course, my friend, Hooksnfangs, protested this idea of, "Why have so many layers!?  Just merge them."  Why?  Just in case a mistake is made and I can go back and change it.  Especially if it's an issue of the color.  

And I would like to thank Hooksnfangs for helping with the background, making it balanced and not as crowded or distracting.

JulyViolet - Animated Harem Elsa Pregnant

Well, everyone, here it is, at long last, the piece that I had been meaning to have done for a long time since I started the animated harem series.  And my thanks to JulyViolet for doing this for me.  For a long time, I wanted to do a series with my animated harem that shows them being pregnant because the women I chose for the series I think would be lovely mothers and I do think that pregnancy is a beautiful and sexy aspect.  I know that there are people who are going to disagree with me and give me grief about it saying that it's not right but really I don't care. 

When I had asked JulyViolet to draw this for me, I did know that Elsa needed to be dressed in an outfit from Frozen 2 and so I chose the white dress.  But when it was done and ready to color I had no clue that it was going to be that big of a challenge for me in terms of its technical layout because there are a lot of parts to the dress that is transparent.  Such as the areas around the lower torso and under the breasts as well as the extra fabric around the legs.  This is why I'm thankful for the different aspects that Photoshop has otherwise this would have been a huge pain to try to get it right. 

As far as the background is concerned, initially, I had the notion of putting her in the outdoors but that proved to be far beyond my skills so I resigned to doing it like a sequel to the "expecting" picture where she's standing inside near the balcony.  So after bringing her outside and putting her on a balcony and fiddling a lot with the railing and the sky gradient I finally managed to get it done. 

Once again, thank you to JulyViolet for their work on this.  It couldn't have been done without them.

And now that this is done, I have prepared a little something for Elsa that I imagine that she would sing to her child during the months of the pregnancy.

JulyViolet - Animated Harem Elsa is Expecting

To continue the series of my Animated Harem, here we have Elsa holding a positive pregnancy test and blushing with the good news.

Coloring Elsa's dress was once again the easier part, coloring the background was the harder part becuase I wanted it to be as screen accurate to the movies as possible.  So I used a set of patterns for the wallpaper thanks to Sakuyamon and I also used a set of brushes from the same artist for the snowflakes.

I did something similar to this when it came to the artist Blushmallet but with this one I wanted to give a little more detail to it.  And after some tricks to give a sense of depth beyond the windows, I knew I was done.

Liefeldianabomination - Ice Fighter Fusion

Another artist I like to commission, @liefeldianabomination, has a very lovely knack for doing fusions.  And so I asked them to do a fusion of three characters:  Elsa (Frozen), Sub-Zero (Mortal Kombat) and Grey Fullbuster (Fairy Tail).  All three ice users, or cryokenetics or cryomancers if you will, fused into one person.  How cool is this?

Animated Harem - July Violet - Elsa

Recently, I came across this artist over on HentaiFoundry, JulyViolet, and I liked the work that they were doing and I decided to commission them.  Granted, I have mostly used another artist for most of my animated harem but I won’t limit myself to one artist because it’d be interesting to see how other artists would interpret the ideas I have.

Anyway, after contacting JulyViolet I threw out the idea to them and they came back with this amazing line artwork.  Coloring it was a pretty easy task and quite fun if I may say so myself.  And the real fun came in when putting in the background, and just like I had done before with other artwork that I’ve done, I just did an ice castle style background with the different streaks of blue.

BlushMallet - Elsa is Expecting

Here is another in the “Animated Harem” series done for me by the incredible @blushmallet. 

What can I say? I like the idea of a woman expecting a child and pregnancy is beautiful.  For Elsa, I had said to Blushmallet that I wanted her to be blushing and still attempting to remain composed. As for the dress, I so wanted to have a piece done of her in the new dress that will be featured in “Olaf’s Frozen Adventure”.  Coloring her was pretty easy thanks to the wonderful lines that Blushmallet does but the real challenge came with the background.  So I went to the screencaps of the trailer for the Frozen short and I decided upon the warm colors that were in the main hall.  And of course, I couldn’t resist putting in the snowflakes into this because she is trying to remain somewhat composed but she is so happy for this wonderful news.

BlushMallet - Virgin Killer Sweater Elsa

I realize that I might be a little late with this meme but I don’t care because really it seemed like no one else was doing this character in this sweater so I took it upon myself to have it done.  So I contacted @blushmallet to have it done.

For those of you who don’t know, for a while now there’s been images circulating the internet of a very peculiar type of sweater.  Shown here:

I don’t know the original name of it, I only know the meme name it has come to be called:  The Virgin Killer sweater.  Horrible name in my opinion.  I’d call it, “The Sexy Back Sweater”.  But that’s just me. 

Anyway, after I made the commission to BlushMallet, they delivered marvelously.  But next came the challenge of coloring her and giving her a background.  As for the color of the sweater itself I figured that I should use the color of Elsa’s original ice dress, the ice blue in other words. 

After that I decided upon a background.  In a way I wanted to harken back to the first in the “animated harem” series in which I colored a background that looked a little like Elsa’s ice castle. 

Though I do admit that I copied the sky and stars from that picture.  Mainly due to time and also to give the picture a certain connecting point. 

And it wouldn’t be Elsa without the addition of snow and snowflakes added to it.

BlushMallet - Animated Harem Elsa

A while ago I came across this lovely artist named @blushmallet and I liked their style.  But I wanted to see if I could commission them for something I had in mind.  For those of you who had been following the art in my tumblr, you know that I have been trying to bring a vision of mine to life.  The vision of the “animated harem” in which I have a group of women from various media, anime, video games, etc and do a series of pictures of them.  And it’s my hope that BlushMallet will be the artist whom I can bring this vision to completion.

The first is Elsa of “Frozen”.  Yes, I know I seem obsessed with her, but hey, we all have one character we go for.  So, Elsa was my first one that I went for.  And after the line art was done, I went to coloring it.  Of course, I asked beforehand if Blushmallet was okay with this, with me coloring it and posting it to my own tumblr.  They said that it was perfectly alright.  So, with that blessing, I unleashed myself on this project.  I did things like I usually do but then came the background and I knew that I had a challenge ahead of me.  The challenge was that I wanted to recreate the balcony of Elsa’s ice palace.  A little bit to what I had done before in a previous picture that I had colored.  However, to try and push my own skills I decided to try to make it look like sunset.  Which was a little tricky but I managed it and I kept pushing with little details here and there.  Such as the shadows, the body lighting and so on.  At last, the final touch was the snow.  Just wouldn’t be Elsa without the snow and snowflakes.  So thanks to some brushes I had in photoshop I added those and here it is.

CallMePo - My Animated Harem - Elsa

Here we have the first in a series of pictures I’m planning that features what I call my “Animated Harem”.  Essentially, women whom are my big favorites from all forms of media, movies, anime, video games and so on.

The idea behind this set of pictures is that each woman will be naked but also wearing a BDSM collar with a tag that has my logo/symbol on it.  As soon as the picture was done by CallMePo, I went ahead with the coloring which is pretty simple compared to coloring a character who is wearing clothes. 

As for the background, I admit that I did cheat a little when it came to that in that I used the same background for this as I did for “Modern Elsa”. 

Hope you all like this as much as I did in coloring it.

CallMePo - Modern Elsa

A while back when CallMePo had opened up his commissions I immediately jumped in and requested for a commission of Elsa of “Frozen” in modern clothes.  I got this idea from a picture that I had seen while I was looking up reference images of Elsa’s dress for previous coloring projects.  During that time I came across a compilation picture that showed a set of more modern clothes but done with Elsa’s color coordination: ice blue, dark blue and so on. I immediately liked the idea so I held onto the image and showed it to Po and he went to work on it, after he had finished others who had gotten in line before me. 

The picture I’m talking about is this:

After it was done, I had the task in front of me of not only coloring her but giving it a background.  The first challenge was the “over shirt” I guess you could call it.  The challenge was that it had a gradation to it, starting with a light blue at the top and going down to a dark blue at the bottom.  This included the sleeves at the top and going down to the cuffs.  And given that Elsa’s arms were in different positions this presented a very tricky challenge indeed.  So I went about coloring the shirt and giving it shading as if it were one color.  Then using the gradation paint tool I created one block of the color and then did some copying, pasting, manipulating and so on.

It is a shame that I don’t have the computing power or the software needed to make a capture video of the process that I took in making this.   Otherwise, I’d show all of you on how the process was done.
As for the background, initially my idea for that was a pretty ambitious one for the level of skill.  The idea I had beforehand was that I would try to paint a mall scene.  With Elsa in these modern clothes, I pictured her being a very fashionable woman and heading to a more expensive area of the mall, like say a Louis Vinton store or some close approximation of that.  But given the level of skill I have on hand it seemed a little too far beyond what I could do at the time.  And so I fell back on doing a simple wall background of her room.  Thanks to a wallpaper pattern that I found I was able to match, as close as I could, the wallpaper pattern of her room.

The setup now is that Elsa had just tried on her new outfit and was posing for Anna before she would head on out to “paint the town”.

Before posting it, I had to show this to my friend Clock-heart to show them how well I did with the gradation of the shirt.  And they were quite amazed at what I had done and as an artist I can’t help but feel great pride at what I was able to accomplish.

Happy Birthday, StarDragon77

Yes, it is my birthday, today.  And knowing that my birthday was coming soon, I called up one of the artists I commission.  The artist here is lenbarboza. I called upon them and asked if they wouldn’t mind doing a special image for me.  The image I had in mind was of Elsa (Frozen) and Maggie (Read or Die), two women that my friend, clock-heart calls my “waifus”.  Heh, and the idea I had for them was basically similar to what was done in “Frozen Fever” that the two of them would be standing together and holding a birthday cake for me.

Initially, the background was pretty much blank so I had to fill that in myself.  So I called upon another friend of mine, KillerChibis, to help out.  I had already drawn out the outline for the table and such and she gave a few hints as far as what to do and then that was that.  The picture itself was done, I think sometime in August, so I had essentially finished coloring Maggie and Elsa as well as the cake within one weekend but the background took a little longer.  So, I worked on it little by little.  At one point, it was just the table, the presents on it and a banner saying “Happy Birthday” in the background. But I wasn’t satisfied with that.  I needed it to look like a real “mother of a blowout”.  So, I added in some balloons.  The color scheme for it was inspired by a piece that my friend, clock-heart did that used a lot of colors in it.  The piece that I’m talking about is a “Trickster Nep” and here it is: Trickster Nep

So I used the colors from the candies in there for the balloons as well as the confetti.

3 Elsas by Berelince Colored

Sometime ago, while I was browsing around DA, I came across an incredible piece of Elsa fan art by Berelince

I liked it because it showed a certain juxtaposition between the three stages that we’ve seen Elsa, first as the fun loving little girl who made her sister happy with her magic.  Then growing up into a woman so consumed by fear and anxiety and guilt over what happened as a child.   So much so that she’s closed herself off from the world and bundled herself up in layers, despite the summer warmth.  Then the final stage, the Queen of Ice, in complete control of herself and her abilities.  Now that I’d call growth, wouldn’t you?

So, given that and my soft spot for Elsa, I went to Berelince and asked her if she wouldn’t mind making a digital lineart of this piece (as a commission of course).  I had explained that after the lineart was done I would be coloring it, she agreed and I waited.

After it was done, it was time for my end of it.  The first challenge was the 5 year old Elsa because I had to keep in mind the light that was coming from the magic snowball in her hand.  Plus I had to throw in some effects of the snowflakes and such around it.

For the Coronation Elsa, this one took more detail in certain area, mainly her jewels, like her broach and her crown.  Such as in the very center of the crown there’s a blue jewel set into it which wasn’t in the lineart, but that was okay since I just painted it in and there we have it.

For Ice Queen Elsa, this presented other challenges, such as her hair, which has a lot more detail to it than the others that I have colored before.  After that there was her dress which after I had finished it, I knew that it needed something more.  So I went further than I had before and threw on some sparkles into it thanks to the Star Brush Set by DodoKiller

Finally, there was the background.  I knew that there had to be something there and it had to be simple otherwise it would just overcrowd the picture.   So I settled upon a little snow, her snowflake symbol and a vignette oval.

Zet13 - Jedi Master Elsa

You could say that this is a repeat of what nippy13 did for me but it’s such a good and fun idea that I just couldn’t resist, I wanted to see what this idea would look like when done by another artist.  And Zet13 was having a “Moving Commission Sale”.  Essentially, he was moving across country and needed some money to help out.  Of course, this was a couple weeks back, about a week before I ran into my own snag as far as income sources.  But all that aside, when he was done, I couldn’t wait to get to coloring it.

In case you don’t know the background of the idea, here’s how it went:

When I was attending Anime L.A., I met a cosplayer who had done a rather interesting mash-up.  The mash-up was Disney and Star Wars and she was doing Elsa as a “Slave Leia”.

I saw it and liked it but then I thought that as titillating as it was, I figured that Elsa wouldn’t be a slave at all.  So then I thought it over about the different aspects and professions in the Star Wars universe that would fit her.  And given her abilities, I decided that Elsa should be a Jedi.

Nippy13 - A Frozen Dance (Colored)

An idea had occurred to me a while back for another fan art piece of Elsa from “Frozen”.  This time, I decided to do something that is rather rare for me to do, to have a caricature of me made.  In all the art that I’ve had done there have only been a few times when this was done. The first time was when my friend clock-heart had drawn an Ouran Host Club OC using my face and hairstyle as the template for the OC.  Basically it was myself in the Ouran Style.  This here is the second, this time I’m done in the Disney style, thanks to Nippy13

Essentially, I wanted to be dancing with Elsa as if I were there at some kind of ball or gala that she had going on at the palace.  So, with that in mind, I had to look around in the “Frozen” universe for outfits worn by the men that would be appropriate for the setting.  A lot of the outfits for the men were either for the high ranking nobles and officials or ordinary individuals who lived in the towns and villages outside the palace.  Looking closer among the various characters I managed to find someone in the background in one of the scenes and I said to Nippy, use this, and that’s what she came up with.

I know you might notice a slight difference in facial expression.  That’s because a last minute change was made in an upload to a different page that Nippy13 had and I asked her if I could use the one where my caricature was smiling.   Reason is because in the original, the expression seemed a little, I guess worried or sad.  But Nippy was perfectly alright with it and sent me the other lineart and I went to work with it.

Finally, the last issue was the background.  Initially, I wanted to recreate the background of the ballroom but I had enormous difficulty finding the right patterns and textures.  And when I did they weren’t compatible with the versions of Photoshop that I had.  Thanks to clock-heart who had suggested I make a more simple background I decided to go with that suggestion; something simple that could give a little more focus to the two characters.  After that, I used some brushes of snowflakes and a small technique for the snow blasts.  All it required was the pen tool to create a white swish and then using a speckled eraser tool, and running it across the white swish and viola: snow swish.

Nippy13 - Jedi Master Elsa

I saw it and liked it but then I thought that as titillating as it was, I figured that Elsa wouldn’t be a slave at all.  So then I thought it over about the different aspects and professions in the Star Wars universe that would fit her.  And given her abilities, I decided that Elsa should be a Jedi.  With that in mind, I called upon an artist I know who has always done amazing work when it came to mimicking the Disney style whether it was 2D or 3D characters:  Nippy13

I sent a message to her making it a lineart/sketch commission.  The idea I had in mind was that Elsa would be wearing Jedi Robes, but also her tunic would be similar to the corset of her “ice dress”.  As for her lightsaber hilt, I went through various sites that made lightsaber props for cosplay and so on.  Among them was a site called “Saber Forge”.   The model that I wanted Elsa to have had to be something very sleek, simple and elegant.  And so, I came upon one that fight that description, but the name of it really laid the irony on rather thick.   The name of the lightsaber model was called: “the Princess”.

After Nippy13 had done the artwork itself, it was up to me to put in the colors.  Immediately, I didn’t want Elsa to be wearing the drab earthtones of the traditional Jedi Robes.  Instead, I used the colors from her ice dress as a pallet, the blues and a little purple.  And of course, I had to make her lightsaber blade blue.

As for the background, I had agonized on that one for quite a while trying to figure out a setting to put her in that would work with my abilities.   FInally, I picked the Death Star Hallway.  The panels for that were relatively simple to reproduce thanks to a few images I found here and there.  After that it was a matter of recreating the sheen and reflection in the floor.  All it takes is a little opacity change, mirroring the image above and viola.
